Custom Scene Miniature

A scene miniature is a little diorama made from your photo. The subject stands on a shallow, solid base together with a simplified piece of its surroundings: a stretch of pavement, a doorway, a tree or a bench. Everything is fused into one sturdy object, so it is easy to paint and safe to dust.

Photos with one clear subject and a little recognizable context work best: a street-food cart and its awning, a tuk-tuk on a corner, a phone box with the railing behind it. Open frames and railings are filled into solid panels so they can be printed.

The concept image shows it on a living-room shelf or side table beside books and a small lamp, which is where most people keep one. You choose the size of its longest edge, from 3 to 40 cm, and see it at real size on a desk before ordering.
